Privacy Policy

Understand what stays on your device, when permissions are needed, and how to manage your information.

Updated and effective: October 9, 2026

Floating Clock does not require an account. The current version contains no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs. It does not upload your events or calendar contents to MoxiLab servers, and we do not sell that content.

01

Scope and provider

This policy covers Floating Clock (悬浮时钟), provided by MoxiLab (摩西实验室), and the privacy and support pages at moxilab.org.

02

Events and preferences on your device

Manually entered titles, dates and notes, and imported calendar titles, times, notes, locations, links and calendar identifiers are stored in the app’s local storage to display events and calculate countdowns. Theme and appearance preferences are also stored locally. Locations come only from calendar records; the app does not request location access to track your position.

The app writes event identifiers, titles, times, themes and styles to a shared container on the same device for Home Screen widgets. Dynamic Island, Lock Screen Live Activities and the floating window also display relevant event information. People who can see your screen may see this content; turn off these surfaces when needed.

03

Calendar permissions

When you use calendar features and grant permission, the app uses Apple EventKit to read events within the selected period so you can choose what to import. Imported records are local copies. With permission already granted, the app may also read calendar events to fill in details missing from older imports. Importing does not modify or delete the original calendar events.

When adding an event manually, the app writes it to the default calendar only if you enable Save to Calendar, grant permission and save. Your system calendar may sync through Apple or other calendar accounts according to their settings and policies. Denying access does not prevent manual event creation. You can change calendar access in iOS Settings.

04

External links and Apple services

Tapping a website or app link in an event opens the relevant service through the operating system. Its own privacy policy applies. Apple manages App Store purchases, downloads, refunds, system backups and diagnostics under its policies and your settings. MoxiLab does not receive your card number or payment password. The app does not operate a user account system or its own cloud calendar sync.

05

Website visits and support email

Hosting and network services process technical information such as IP address, request time, path and browser details to deliver this website and maintain security. The site uses Tencent Cloud hosting and Cloudflare domain and DNS services; processing depends on the connection route and service configuration. These pages use no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or cookies.

If you email us, we process your email address, message and voluntarily supplied attachments to respond and provide support. Please share only what is necessary. Email is handled by the relevant email providers. We do not use support correspondence for advertising.

06

Retention, deletion and control

Events and preferences remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app’s data. Expired events may remain in the list until manually deleted. Deleting an event in the app does not delete the original system calendar event or a copy saved to Calendar. Revoking calendar permission does not automatically remove earlier imports.

Deleting the app removes its local app data. System backups, calendar records and system surface caches may persist independently under system or calendar settings. To remove these, also review your backups, calendars, widgets and Live Activities. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to address the issue and maintain necessary follow-up records. You may request deletion by email, subject to legally required retention.

07

Security, children and changes

We use iOS app isolation and permissions and serve these pages over HTTPS, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. This product is not directed specifically at children and does not ask children for personal information. Contact us if support correspondence contains a child’s information that should not be retained.

When features or data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact MoxiLab using the email below.
